Section 80 was no surprise to the adamant fans of Kendrick Lamar; formally known as k-dot and member of group Black Hippy the “good kid from Compton” as he would call himself has done it again. This may be his first album but, this is not his first display of his talented music. His free ep titled, Kendrick Lamar released around the New Year was his breakout. After his ep talk of the young talented rapper was out and he was said to be the next hot thing from the west. Anxiety was built wondering what the young rappers next project would consist of, and then July 2nd came and his second big project Section 80 dropped leaving most amazed. The album’s agreed to be better than the ep leaving fans beyond satisfied.
The conscience rapper Kendrick Lamar was able to get his point across and still have a good sound with substance filled songs like his album opener Fuck your ethnicity with such a strong title was the foundation for the rest of his album, songs high power, A.D.H.D and many more allowed him to show his diversity and intellect. The strong lyrics like, “Malcolm X put a hex on my future, someone catch me/ I’m falling victim to a revolutionary song/ The Serengeti’s clone/ Back to put you backstabbers back on your spinal bone/ You slit your diss when I slid you my disc/ You wanted to diss but jumped on my dick” acknowledges his roots and what it has made him today. It seems like everything that has to do with the young up and coming artist has a purpose and meaning which many argue the game is missing today. The title Section 80 as well has significance to it, Kendrick Lamar says the albums made for those born from the 80’s till now covering a wide timespan allowing many to relate. But with the quality and the production that came from his ep and now his album, it is obvious Kendrick Lamar is capable of good music and eye-opening lyrics making him one to look out for.

produce.

The pressure to produce can feel enormous, not knowing where your next is coming from and how ur going to get what you need is an even worse feeling. So wat to do? BE STRESSED THE FUCK OUT IS WHAT TO DO! but ocourse that makes nothing better just worse. It seems like answers are hard to come by, well correct ones atleast because i could easily come up with an alternative to relieve myself but can i really expect a positive outcome from a negative foudation? no. So i guess ill continue to search for answers to what seems like un-answerable questions.
